Rajendra Pratap Gupta (Rajendra) is a Global Healthcare thought leader. He is an advisor to the World Health Care Congress – USA & Europe, sits on a five member international Task Force of DMAA, USA and a Director, DMAA- The Care Continuum Alliance, USA. He is also the founding president of Disease Management Association of India.
Rajendra has been known for his in depth understanding of public systems across sectors, and was the co-author of the manifesto of one of the largest political parties in India for Lok Sabha Elections in 2009. He is amongst the core group of international experts invited from 13 countries by the PHFI to deliberate and discuss the health systems agenda for India and make recommendations for transformation of the India’s healthcare system. PHFI is founded by the current Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh in 2006.
He has also served on the CII sub-committee for Private Public relationships for Healthcare & is also on the Executive Council of the Telemedicine Society of India.
Rajendra has been recognised globally for preventive care and chronic care management, and as recognition for his services globally, he became the first person from Asia-Pacific to be nominated to the prestigious board of the DMAA- The Care Continuum Alliance, Washington, DC.
